SDI Drysuit Diver

The SDI Dry Suit Diver Course will open up a whole new world of diving to you. Many of the diving environments around the world are better experienced in a dry suit. Why? These areas have an abundance of marine life waiting to be seen and photographed – they just happen to be a little colder! Dry suits are also used in tropical water during the cooler months. This course allows the student to develop the knowledge and skills to properly use a dry suit. It will discuss the types of dry suits, accessories, maintenance and how to make basic repairs.

Who this course is for:

The certified diver looking to do cold water diving or extend their local NJ dive season with the use of a drysuit

DATE SHOWN IS A PLACEHOLDER ONLY. THIS CLASS REQUIRES A COUPLE HOURS OF POOL TIME FOLLOWED BY 2 OPEN WATER DIVES. WE SCHEDULE OUR CLASSROOM REVIEW, POOL SESSION, AND DIVE LOCATION AS NEEDED/AVAILABLE.

CLASS STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES

In an effort to reduce plastic waste, all specialty classes completed with SJS will include a digital certification only. A physical certification card may be requested as well for an additional $10. DATE SHOWN IS FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES ONLY. WE SCHEDULE OUR CLASSROOM REVIEW SESSION AS NEEDED. Standard class rate shown. If additional sessions/days are needed, a fee of $200 per day will apply.
