The new SDI Sidemount Diver eLearning saves students time, as they don’t need to go to several different sources to assemble the materials needed to understand sidemount. Rather than take a dogmatic “my way or the highway” approach to Sidemount Diver training, the SDI program covers the broad range of equipment, procedures and techniques used by experienced sidemount divers around the world.
Who this SDI course is for:
The certified diver looking to use a sidemount cylinder instead of the standard back mount unit.
SDI Open Water Scuba Diver or equivalent
Minimum age 18, 15 with parental consent.
What’s in it for you?
Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in sidemount diving activities without direct supervision, provided the following limits are adhered to:
Safety stops as appropriate
Planned dives do not exceed diver’s current certification level
SDI Sidemount and TDI Sidemount may be combined and taken as one class. Simply sign-up for both SDI and TDI Sidemount.
PLEASE NOTE: Actual class date is determined by both student and instructor once eLearning is completed and receipt/setup of any specialized equipment. Class size is limited to 4 students in order to allow for maximum student-instructor contact time. Training may require travel and hotel which are not included in the cost of the class.
