SDI Instructor Development Course

**ENROLL NOW FOR THE JUNE 2026 PROGRAM**

Ready to become an instructor? We can make it happen! Expect 5 full days of training. Sessions will be classroom at South Jersey Scuba, confined water pool practice and skill evaluations, and one day for open water practice time. Upon completion, you will be ready for your Final Instructor Evaluation Course! and must be completed within 6 months of your IDC.

Course prerequisites:

Minimum age 18
Certified diver for a minimum of 6 months
Proof of 100 logged dives completed in a number of different environments with varying depths
Be certified as a SDI Divemaster, SDI Assistant Instructor, or equivalent
Provide proof of current CPR, first aid and oxygen provider*, where local law permits
South Jersey Scuba HIGHLY reccommends 6 months-1 year as a working Divemaster prior to enrollment

Skill Level:	Advanced
Skill Details:	Must be a current SDI Divemaster or equivalent, perform all skills to demonstration quality, and pass watermanship assessment.

Includes all classroom, pool time, instructor materials, open water training, and all necessary elearning modules. Does not include rental gear, travel, accommodations, final processing fees, or park fees. Reach out for details and booking!
