Key Largo, Winter 2023-2024 DEPOSIT

Join South Jersey Scuba for our annual winter Florida Keys trip!

This year features a return back to the traditional scheduling with two distinct weeks:
Week #1 is December 26^th to December 30^th (5 days, 4 nights, 3-4 days of diving).  Book December 26th for Week #1
Week #2 is December 31^st thru January 6^th (7 days, 6 nights, 5-6 days of diving).  Book December 31st for Week #2
PLEASE NOTE: This is a $400 deposit to lock in your respective room.  Final trip (room and diving) payment will be billed to each participant by November 30^th.

House reserved is a 2 story, 4 bedrooms, with 3.5 bathrooms: 1 room with a Queen bed (perfect for couples), 2 rooms with Double beds, and 1 room with Bunk beds.  House amenities include heated pool, washer/dryer use, modern and spacious kitchen, wifi and cable TV, private balcony, and fully gated.  Additionally, the location offers plenty of parking, easy access to Highway 1, and is well situated to get to all the major attractions in Key Largo.

Diving will take place with Conch Republic Divers in Tavernier.  Dives planned are reefs, wrecks, thru to hunting trips.  Reefs will range from shallow 30-50ft thru to deep 100+ft, and will also include some destinations that non-divers can join us on.  If enough demand, we can do the Largo wrecks (Spiegel Grove, Dwayne, Bibb, Eagle, and Benwood) all in 1 day!!  Hunting trips can be arranged in the afternoon and will include spearfishing and lobstering- nothing better than eating freshly caught seafood!  Trips we are scheduling are chartered 2-tank AM dives.  Divers of all levels are invited to join us- new Open Water all the way up to Rebreather.  Afternoon and all-day trips are also available, but will require consensus of the group or a set minimum number of divers.  

This trip is perfect for the divers looking to keep diving in the winter months and looking to continue their scuba education.  Trip leader Kevin Pang and staff can handle open water up to technical certifications on the trip- reach out and continue learning on the trip.  Coral Restoration thru iCARE or Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF) can also be arranged.   

While we love diving, there is so much more to do in the Keys!  We have the ability to go fishing, explore the beautiful parks, sunset cruises, and even visit Key West.  This trip is geared towards being a fun vacation for both divers and non-divers alike!

Diving will be charged by the type of trip and includes appropriate number of tanks with air and weights. Rental gear, larger tanks, and Nitrox are additional cost. Diver cost per dive trip are as follows:
2-tank morning or afternoon dive: $105 per diver
1-tank night dive: $105 per diver
Largo Wreck (all day event): $300 per diver
Coral Restoration, All-Day, Long Range: To Be Determined
32% Nitrox: $12/tank
Snorkelers (gear included): $60 per person
Bubble Watcher: $30 per person
Diving will be billed after your room is confirmed and diving days are discussed and locked in.
