Join South Jersey Scuba for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the unforgettable island of Statia!


The resort chosen for this trip is Golden Rock Dive and Nature Resort.  This eco-conscious resort is a lush paradise spread across 40 acres offering an unrivaled blend of luxury, adventure, and natural beauty. With a wide variety of complimentary activities on resort from tennis to board games, swimming to kiting, the non-diver has plenty to keep themselves occupied. Alternatively, you can hike the dormant volcano or visit the historic town.  Accommodations will be double occupancy (single occupancy is available) in One-bedroom Cottages- each are 560 sq feet and feel more like a private home than a hotel room. Beyond the elegantly appointed living area, separate bedroom, large bathroom and kitchenette, each cottage comes with a little garden and a private porch.

With a marine park larger than the island itself, the island has more protected historical sites underwater and on land per square mile than anywhere else in the Caribbean. Vestiges of Statia’s past fuel the 36 dive spots and 7 wrecks in St. Eustatius National Marine Park.  With sites such as Anchor Point, the Charles L. Brown Wreck, and the blue beads (yes, you can take them home!) scattered among the sea floor, there is something for everyone underwater.  We will be valet diving with Statia Divers for 5 days of 2-tank morning boat dives.  Nitrox is complimentary for those with Nitrox certification. 



Package Includes the following:
- 7 night accommodation in a one-bedroom cottage with ocean and garden views
- Daily Breakfast at Breeze Restaurant
- 5 days of 2-tank morning boat dives with Statia Divers (valet service- gear setup, tank changes, daily clean & storage)
- Complimentary Nitrox (for those with Nitrox certification)
- Mid-morning snack & soft drink/coffee during surface intervals
- 3 Island Tours (Hike to top of dormant volcano, History tour, and Island tour)
- Airport or Ferry Shuttle upon arrival and departure
- Diving Shuttle to Harbor
- Use of resort facilities including pickleball, padel, mini-golf, two pools, tennis, volleyball, fitness center, and yoga platform


Cost per person (not including taxes and fees):
- Diver, Double Occupancy: $2,450
- Diver, Single Occupancy: $3,350
- Non-Diver, Double Occupancy: $1,200
Additional costs (subject to change), include Marine Park fee, Island Tax, Island Environmental fee.  These will be added to the final invoice from South Jersey Scuba.  Optional activities such as spa treatments, sunset cruises, day trips to Saba/St. Kitts, and other workshops will be added to resort final invoice.

Payment Structure after initial deposit of $500:
Diver, Double Occupancy: $975 due 12/10/2026, $975+fees/taxes final payment due 5/10/2027
Diver, Single Occupancy: $1425 due 12/10/2026, $1425+fees/taxes final payment due 5/10/2027
Non-Diver, Double Occupancy:$350 due 12/10/2026, $350+fees/taxes final payment due 5/10/2027

Does not include: airfare to Statia, gratuities (suggested: 10%-15% trip of trip cost), dive instruction, dive gear rental (other than standard tanks, weights and weight belts), retail sales & services, soft drinks, juices, alcoholic beverages, spa treatments, sunset cruises, day trips to Saba/St. Kitts, and other workshops

Note- there is currently no fuel surcharge but this can change at any time. 

Diver insurance is REQUIRED for all SJS trips. Travel insurance HIGHLY recommended.
